There's two good answers to that question. The Yellowrock is the favorite greeting* of all square dancers, especially the single dancers. It is also the name of a Caller/Cuer College Scholarship. Each year SSDUSA awards the Frank Norris Yellowrock Scholarship to assist a callers and/or cuer with less than three years experience. The award of the scholarship is made at each year's Dance-A-Rama.
